Hair-Or-Win Mother's Day Panel and Brunch is an event tailored towards new and existing mothers who have either suffered from Alopecia and/or any forms of hair loss or have experienced adversity with their child(ren) suffering from hair loss. This event is designed to encourage mothers to move beyond their hair condition and transform into becoming their best selves in their personal lives and careers.
Beauty entrepreneur, educator and hair expert, Brandy Irons, is the proud owner of Branding You Hair Salon. After suffering from Alopecia majority of her life, Brandy decided to walk in her purpose and create a lane where she not only enhances beauty through hair, but also educates licensed cosmetologists about the various skill-sets on how to style and maintain healthy hair. Plus, she educates individuals on how to accept, embrace, and restore inner beauty living with Alopecia. As a graduate from Pivot Point Academy, one of Chicago’s top cosmetology schools, Brandy has dedicated more than 20 years to transforming people’s lives through her proficiency in hair.
In 2015, Brandy experienced the tragic loss of her mother. But that didn’t let her give up on her mission in life, as she took that adversity and turned it into a positive one, thus creating Branding You Salon in honor of her mother’s legacy, in 2016. Branding You Salon is a “transitional salon” creating a safe space for beginner stylists who have just received their license from cosmetology school and helping them grow and strengthen their skill set, so that they can be able to either move on to the salon of their dreams and/or start a business of their own.
Brandy is best known for raising the standards of hair care, educating individuals on how to help restore healthy hair and specializing in diverse hair textures. .
Brandy has been a hairstylist for top celebrities as well as women who want to enhance their inner and outer beauty. She was recently recognized as the 2017 Harlem Fashion Row Champion and was lead hair stylist for the LA Fashion Row show.
